In 1996, a time when the INTERNET was not among us, although it was expected, the European Football Championship (men’s) was held in England and, in Spain, the newspaper DIARIO MARCA promoted the first FANTASY GAME (FG) based on a INTERNATIONAL SPORTS COMPETITION.

The PROBLEM that the USERS had with the promotion and participation in this newspaper FANTASY GAME was: that the provisional list of PLAYERS of each National Team did not coincide with all the PLAYERS who later played the European Championship ’96. At that precise moment the creative opportunity appear to change the signing of PLAYERS to that of TEAMS, so we can transform the GAME and create something new to BE THE FIRST…

We design the MAGAZINE but it was not possible, the PAPER cost, made it impossible.

We had to wait for the INTERNET “boom” to once again have the opportunity to compare and evaluate the TRADITIONAL FANTASY GAMES available on the Internet with our CREATIVITY.

Putting the entertainment of TRADITIONAL FANTASY GAMES on the NET, by the media, has meant doing the same thing that had been done in the pages of the newspapers and simply transferring it to the INTERNET, therefore, the creative concept of changing the sign of PLAYERS to TEAMS, which reduces the variables of the GAME, gave us the opportunity to once again BE THE FIRST to display a FANTASY GAME on MOBILE screens with the possibility of participating in a simpler, interactive, dynamic and entertaining way.

BEING THE FIRST to create a FANTASY GAME on MOBILE screens was our success, but it was not possible its promotion and, as of today, in a better or worse way, TRADITIONAL FANTASY GAMES are already on mobile phones, Honestly, we have never given up in this creative fight that has been continuous but limited in its possibilities and is curious that WOMEN´S SPORTS will be the detonating for US not to turn back.

In the last two summers, in 2022, the Women’s Football European Championship was held in England and in 2023 Women’s Football World Championship was held in Australia and New Zealand, but, in both cases, neither UEFA or FIFA as organizers of the events, or any “Mass Media” that covered the events, made it possible, for all Women’s Football FANS, to live the performance of their National Teams in a different way, with the entertainment of a FANTASY GAME.

For more than 25 years, the fun, impact and notoriety of FANTASY GAMES has been focused on Men’s Sports and it boils our blood that, for reasons of creativity, imagination and bravery, the social value of FANTASY GAMES on Women’s Sports Competitions are not promoted.

There are still many opportunities TO BE THE FIRST in the FANTASY GAMES product category, but at this point, BEING THE FIRST is not more important than BEING ABLE to be part of the empowerment, revindication and improvement of WOMEN´S SPORTS that represents all the traditional values of SPORT while maintaining its own uniqueness, story, values and personality that identify its FANS.

Neither WOMEN´S SPORTS, according to who knows who, nor the participation model established in the traditional FG helps to achieve the challenge of uniting FANS around the same FANTASY GAME before, during and after WOMENS SPORTS COMPETITIONS, making every moment of it MORE.
